JUNE 17, 2021 – Shelters United and Virox Technologies®, makers of Rescue™ Disinfectants, are pleased to announce a partnership to expand access to responsible and efficacious, cleaning and disinfection solutions. Together, the organizations will collaborate to provide access to Rescue Disinfectants to thousands of animal welfare organizations across the United States.
With approximately 6.5 million companion animals entering U.S. animal shelters every year, there is a high risk that outbreaks caused by pathogens such as canine parvovirus can occur. The partnership gives Shelters United members preferred access to Rescue Disinfectants and its educational resources so that shelter and rescue workers can help prevent illnesses in the animals they care for.
